Moonstone Mushroom

I fell in love with GloriBee’s resin work the first time I saw it – she uses real mushrooms and flowers to make her beautiful pendants. I was so excited when she agreed to collaborate with me and made a few custom pendants for use in my beaded jewelry. This necklace contains a dried mushroom and moss on a creamy resin within a 19mm antique copper-plated circle (per GloriBee, bubbles and uneven surfaces are common when working with resin and are less visible in real life than in close-up photos). The focal piece is surrounded by 11/0 seed beads and then bead embroidered on to green Ultrasuede (microfiber fabric) using 4mm round Rainbow Moonstone beads and 4mm olivine green bicone beads.
